Hard to believe Mt Stromlo would do that, were you able to pick which part up there was lit? (Thinking it was from someones house up there rather than a 'commercial' building).

I had someone up at Mt Tuggeranong last night with huge floodlights, I was going to take a photo but couldn't find the Canon. It would have been a fantastic conjunction with Venus.

The lights seem to be right on top of the mountain..? THIS is a telephoto shot from my observing area, one or more of those buildings are the culprits
