Barry is still recovering in hospital, he had his biopsy on Wednesday and is in the ICU as his blood pressure is low and his pulse to high. He is more getting annoyed than anything, as he has 101 wires attached, can't get out of bed and can't set up his computer as they don't give him anywhere to plug it in.
Hopefully he will be in a normal ward by Saturday, and then out altogether by mid next week.
Cheers
Trevor
All the best to Barry then
I got carted by ambulance the other night myself, it's really scary. The backlash in all our gears is increasing by the day
Thanks jjj. I got a giant tummy ache, and it was thought wise to see if it was a heart attack. It wasn't, so they kicked me out in disgust after many tests .
I was pretty sure it was just a guts ache because I knew (but did not tell anyone) what excesses I had committed at lunch with the blokes the day before
So a different thing to Barry, his isn't self inflicted
I would have said yes too, since I always wanted to go flying without a broomstick
What I did get was a concoction called a 'Pink Lady', which was a draught of Mylanta with a layer of Xylocaine syrup on top. This is a differentiation technique they use.
That settled me right down, and with the ECG, my case was quickly resolved all the way out to the footpath
Cheers

Reason: paramedics are never ratbags
Good to know you're home and well. I'll drop by Thursday morning on my way to Ilford to pick up a few things. Let me know if you need other stuff taken to the house.
Damn and blast Barry. That's bloody crook.
I hope you are coping with the news as well as can be expected.
I know the docs are going to do their very best for you.
Much love and a huge hugs mate. xoxox
