Hopefully he will be in a normal ward by Saturday, and then out altogether by mid next week.

All the best to Barry then

I got carted by ambulance the other night myself, it's really scary. The backlash in all our gears is increasing by the day

Oh yes,

Thanks jjj. I got a giant tummy ache, and it was thought wise to see if it was a heart attack. It wasn't, so they kicked me out in disgust after many tests .

I was pretty sure it was just a guts ache because I knew (but did not tell anyone) what excesses I had committed at lunch with the blokes the day before

So a different thing to Barry, his isn't self inflicted

Cheers

LOL,

No, the spoilsports

I would have said yes too, since I always wanted to go flying without a broomstick

What I did get was a concoction called a 'Pink Lady', which was a draught of Mylanta with a layer of Xylocaine syrup on top. This is a differentiation technique they use.

That settled me right down, and with the ECG, my case was quickly resolved all the way out to the footpath

Cheers

Hi,

I see too (belatedly) that I unintentionally hijacked this thread, humble apologies for my bad manners.

Hope you continue to recover Barry, all the best

Thanks guys,

Barry is doing better today, sitting up annoying nurses again.

Still has more wires attached than my telescope, I asked if we could point him out the window and take a picture with him.

Barry's on the mend now. Sitting up, eating food, getting cheeky with the nurses. Hopefully he will be out of ICU tomorrow and into a regular ward.

All the annoying tubes have been removed. Just the stuff left to let them know he is alive when he has his eyes closed taking a nap.

Good to know you're home and well. I'll drop by Thursday morning on my way to Ilford to pick up a few things. Let me know if you need other stuff taken to the house.
