Cable

Got one, thank you.
I am chasing the cable(s) that join my computer to my synscan, My mount is a Eq3 to Eq5 upgrade. Cheers John

can you be more specific? I think you need a phone like plug cable into a USB/serial converter?
I may have something in my cupboard but would need to check- I have synscan eq 6 but currently my eq 6 is MIA so would need more details.

EQ5 Cable

Hi Graham

I'm not 100% of what the cable is but I can tell you the mount is an EQ3 to EQ5 upgrade. The hand set is a Synscan and according to the manual the cable is a RS2332 to RJ11. This is the mount http://www.skywatcheraustralia.com.au/?page_id=1175 only mine is black not white.

Serial cable

This is the serial cable I plug into the bottom of my synscan controller
This is the lead that come with my Orion/teletrack mount.
RJ12 TO DB9 FEMALE rj12 is 6 pins rj11 is 4 pins
