Convict Ruins Near Stanley TAS

Hi All,

I took this as part of my Tassie tour. The building is illuminated by car's park lights and slight crop to eliminate artifact from moon.

Details; 7D, 11mm Tokina, ISO 3200, 15 sec.

Comments welcome.

Nice shot Jeff Looks like a great location. Must check it out next time I'm over there. I'm assuming you can't get in amongst the ruins without jumping fences and being naughty?

Funny you should say that.
During the day, I checked out the site from the road. I read the info sign, and looked over the fence. Later that night I thought I would go back, jump the fence and image. However, when I arrived at 3am I chickened out and just imaged from the road. It was when I got back to the van that I saw the smaller sign that said "electric fence" (you can see it in the image on the fence), there must be a wire behind the wood.
