Thanks Colin. At first I thought it might be a bit red but after reading that there is a lot of inter-stellar dust in the way which knocks out nearly all the blue and green information I was happy to leave it "au naturale!"

Thanks Jeanette! There are some nifty little modules in StarTools and some others in the G'MIC plugin for Gimp which can really tease out the detail. It's like watching a fog lift when things sharpen up sometimes!!

Ross, thanks for your thoughts. When you see the standard of the work produced on this forum I just sit back in awe, however I am happy with my setup and what I'm able to achieve lately from my backyard. So yes I am proud!!
