Breaking Bad
They have cancelled the show. Exactly how to they make these decisions, a dart board?

Oh, no! I just started watching it, too, now that Game of Thrones is done for another year (waa waa).
Any reason why?

No idea H. there's a long list of cancelled shows on eztv.
At least fringe gets one more season to finish it off.

Who knows?
I was livid when they axed Deadwood after only three seasons.
They did it to Firefly after only one season! Just as the show was starting to warm up and the actors were comfortable with their characters.
Atleast with Firefly they made the movie Serenity(brilliantly I might add) to wrap it up.
Got me stuffed.

The director of deadwood got in a fight with the studio and he canned it. He's just made another one called Luck with Dustin Hoffman, Nick Nolte and others and that is also on the axed list after one season.

Series 5 started filming in February 2012 . To quote Wikipedia:
'On August 14, 2011, AMC announced that Breaking Bad was renewed for a fifth and final season consisting of 16 episodes. The season will be split into two parts, each consisting of 8 episodes. The first half will premiere on July 15, 2012, with the second half premiering in summer 2013"
In a nutshell the series is coming to an end rather than being cancelled prematurely which implies finishing with an unfinished story line.

Well that makes all the difference, so it's cancelled.

Have a look at Continuum when you can. Only the first 2 episodes I found but it has promise. SciFi of course.

The story came to its conclusion - it was never going beyond series 5 - it was not `cancelled' . Perhaps you have some definition of 'cancelled' I am not familiar with...

Actually I thought that the show had pretty much concluded after the finish of the last episode I saw. I'll have to go back and look at which series it was, but it really must be series four.
Geez, they'd killed off all the bad guys, the lab's pretty much FUBAR can't see where they're going to take it off from, unless it's the flowers...
Cheers

Still a fair bit of untold story though... I'm really looking forward to the Hank - Walter discussion once the cards are on the table.
