Free sky and telescope PDFs

I received my Copy of US S&T today but as I was rebuilding my laptop software today didn't have a chance to read it but it states that if you have a subscription, then starting from February 2012 then you also jave a free subscription electronically. I've just downloaded it and I'm reading it in goodreader on my iPad. Really brilliant as now I can get all copies in one place to read.

Thanks Allan, That's great news. I don't know why they didn't do that before. It may make one decide that it is better to get the electronic version instead and they can then slowly do away with the printed version being sent overseas.

I was going to move that way myself anyway.

I might have to swap! I currently get the Astronomy Mag from the US. However the mongrels want an extra $10 for get a digital copy in addition to the printed copy. A digital copy only subscription is the same price as a US delivered printed copy. That doesn't make sense to me.

For once S&T are doing the right thing and embracing the newer technology. In the long run it will only help reduce their costs and make their subscribers happy.
