ML focuser site

Anyone else getting emails they have ordered a ML focuser.

Looks like their web site has been had and is sending out emails to customers!

I tried to email Ron but the server is having issues.

edit:
never mind...I called their office and they have a voice mail stating they have a duplicate email issue....! Leave this post up for other users.

Yep, me too, seems I'm getting some more truss connectors.
I too e mailed, but have only just done this.

Same here, thanks for the heads up Brendan. You will hopefully have stopped many unnecessary replies.

BTW folks, spoke to Don Whiteman Saturday, the Bintel email system was similarly spammed last week - caused untold havok for them - 7000 spam emails were being sent from a Korean site per day.

Bintel email should be operating under new arrangements and back to normal today.

I would have appeared to have ordered 8 moonilght focusers today!

I hope that it is just duplicate emails and not actual charges!

I've just ordered 59 focusers and counting. How'd they know I had that many scopes, even the wife doesn't know?

Yup got my emails today for what I ordered paid for and received months ago.Just went to their website and here is the banner at top.

"We apologize for the duplicate confirmation emails being sent out from our email server. Our server was updated and inadvertently resent old confirmation emails when restored by mistake. Please disregard the duplicate confirmation emails being sent. The emails are simply a duplicate from an old original order email in our server."

They're still coming through..just got one then. You'd think they'd have either fixed it or shut it down by now.

I just hope that the 'credit card charging server' hasn't decided to do the same thing?

Now the e-mails have changed from order confirmation to

This email is to confirm that we have assembled your order and the payment transaction is complete. It is now in the shipping queue. An automated email from USPS or UPS will be sent to you with the tracking number once it hits their system.

I still can't get a response from them
If i've bought 17 moonlightes i'm going to be really peeved!!!

you will be right, moonlite have put a message up on the frontpage stating;

"We apologize for the duplicate confirmation emails being sent out from our email server. Our server was updated and inadvertently resent old confirmation emails when restored by mistake. Please disregard the duplicate confirmation emails being sent. The emails are simply a duplicate from an old original order email in our server. "
