Palomar 12
Here's another one that I did in the last three days, the faint globular Palomar 12. It's certainly not imaged too often but I guess the same applies to just about all the Palomars.
Cheers
Steve

Very nice Steve.
It looks a bit like the Jewel Box.

Good to see these off the beaten track objects Steve.
I seem to recall many years a go you captured a number of Palomar objects using hypered tech pan on a C11.

Thanks Steven. Yes - I never got all the ones visible down here though. Tech Pan was pretty well suited because of the red sensitivity.

Thanks Greg. A pretty faint jewel box! Actually that little triangle of stars is a good way to locate it visually which I think I did many years ago although it may have been averted imagination.

8hrs of exposure, that's quite deep, nice result, almost looks like an open cluster.

Thanks Mike. It's not quite that deep as I added in the colour subs as synthetic luminance so just over six hours.

Thats a great well resolved image of a faint globular, they image well in IR too. Been having a go at some Terzans recently, pity they aren't seen as targets.

Thanks John. Yes, IR is great for many of these. Here's UKS1 for instance:

Yes Steve saw that wonderful image of faint UKS1 but was not sure if it was you? Invisible in RGB but your IR range filters show it spectacularly.

Well done Steve. I really enjoy this interesting objects that are technically challenging to image. Good to see you post some more work here. I'd like to see more. Thanks for sharing.

Nice work on both images Steve; these are fascinating targets and you have made them pop!

Thanks Jase. Hopefully there's more to come. I got some luminance for NGC 7606 last night. Unfortunately the seeing was pretty bad.

Plenty of things to see in this image. Nice barred spiral, and a couple of faint irregular ones too. Of course the central attraction is very nice too Steve. Nice going.

Thanks Ross. You certainly don't see this one imaged much. As you've probably noticed I tend to go for the less commonly imaged stuff.
