You may never see me again!

I'm going out again tonight and probably on my lonesome. Today's paper is a bit of a worry though..... I don't know if I'd enjoy being probed.

Wish me luck

I think the only thing that you will be probed is Alan Ferguson's probing you for money from his tours.

Make sure you take a camera, you never know they may return you at a later date...

I thought mostly tropical camo, and the UFO an F15 exhaust.

I used to be a sceptic but that picture of an orange dot out of focus has me convinced now

If you are taking your camera, please try to remember to focus.

It seems that all UFO shots are out of focus for some reason.

Not all of them, and in any case what if it's the ship's drive that's distorting the light coming off it, making it look out of focus. That's something I bet you haven't considered.

Not only that, you're trying to focus on a fast moving object for most of these types of shots and most people are using small point n' shoots or even phone cameras, not fancy DSLR's on a tripod. Give them credit where it's due. I've seen pics of ordinary aircraft worse than many of these shots.

Try taking a clear pic of a fast moving, very bright ball of light yourself at some stage and see how difficult it can be.

Laughing at them isn't very smart.

Your dead right Rod, not once has a pic of a supposedly UFO been in focus,Its all Hocus Pocus, if you ask me.

And in the NT everything is orange at the moment, there's more smoke than sky, as all they do is burn off continuously around here.

There was a site somewhere that talked about what to do to capture UFO. The number one things was to never get it in focus, as there a many gullible people that will assume it.

These furriners.
Unsavoury habits.
But:
If they want 'Probe' you should charge them for 'Probe'.

Pete means...these foreigners have unsavory habits (probing other people) and that if they probe him, he (Gino) should charge them money to do it

Well I survived unmolested.... I think. If they wipe your brain before returning you then how can I be sure I wasn't abducted? No strange marks on me or unexplained extra cash in my wallet.

Had 2 other DAGs turn up (or I think they were other members) so maybe there's safety in numbers. There was a bit of smoke on the horizon but it turned out to be quite a good clear night up above, until the moon turned up that is.

I did have a UFO (maybe a satellite) traverse directly across my field of view whilst looking at the 47 Tucana globular. It looked very freaky and it wasn't visible to the naked eye at all. Going out again next week, hope I'm not pushing my luck.

Good to see you had a good night out without anything weird happening.

Just remember never investigate strange synthesizer music in the bush and always report any urge to build flat top mountains out of mashed potato.
