M8 RGB and H-Alpha combined

100 x 60sec@1600iso RGB, UV/IR Astronomiks clip filter (plus matching darks)
60 x 180sec@1600iso H-alpha 12nm Astronomiks clip filter (plus matching darks)
Camera: Canon 500d modified full spectrum
Scope: Skywatcher 80ed with Hotech field flattener.
Stacked in Nebulosity2 combined and processing in Photoshop CS5.

At this stage i am mighty scared of what is the correct colour. I have been very carefull not to over saturate the colours. Any suggestions on how to improve this image would be greatly appreciated.

Regards
Carl Rainer

That's a tremendous image Carl! You have captured lots of detail. If you went longer subs, say 10min ea it would of even been deeper. The colours look spot on to me. Have even captured tha faint blue veil. Great framing Too - Perfect.

A great photo Carl.

I love the subtle, smooth colours.

Ross.
