Yes it looks like not even an eyepiece was purchased today.
A lovely sunny day today, good for the spirits. Now....watch it cloud over as soon as it's dark

Still clear at the moment, but the local footy ground across the valley has it's new, very bright lights blazing.

Hope it stays clear for later tonight.

I was up at SDM getting mine upgraded to usable status just yesterday..... and just got in from my second straight night of playing with it. Seeing was the best I've seen it this wretched year. Just after sunset I had Saturn at 300x in the 8" with the crepe ring, cassini division and banding on the planet clearly seen with satisfying clarity...

What the hell???
