Is this variable star atlas still useful?

I've got an original printing (1980) AAVSO Variable Star Atlas lying about on the floor (I'm short on space and it's very heavy) and I'm wondering if its still useful. I heard that not all the charts were that reliable and there has been a lot of updating since that time. I'm not interested in variable star work myself but I'm happy to pass it on to someone else who might get something out it.

Hi Jacquie,

I think I have that atlas book also and used it extensively back in he 80's but now I download and print all my charts off the AAVSO website for free, which I gather most VS observers do these days.

I'm sure someone on the forums who collects books such as this one will snap it up.
