And I can't say that it will go further from there for a while! I coupled it with a Mini Mazzer grinder which made all the difference.

As the South Ozzies will know there is nothing quite like a Farmers Union iced coffee to hit the spot.

Why sip when you can guzzle.

Cheers Kev.

I'm with Jen back on page one, coffee is ewwwww but I find the aroma really yummy. Then every time in the past I would succumb to the delicious sent I would regret it. I use to drink a lot of coffee but it is just too strong and doesn't agree with me. Too much and I'd feel sick, have hot flushes and feel completed wired but absolutely knackered.

I prefer I nice hot cup of tea English breakfast, Irish breakfast, chai, green tea with Jasmine...yummmm

I also succumb to diet coke quite frequently even though I know the sweeteners are super bad for me

Just bought myself a little Saeco coffee machine, had a bit of a look around and this seemed to be great value for money.
It uses those little coffee pods, which I hadnt even heard of, until you guys here mentioned it.
It has come with 24 little Lavazza variety mix, woohoo, now to give it a go.
They only had one here in town, but I would think it woukd be a good seller.
A good day for a coffee as raining heavily and a cool 24.8 dg.

Biggest problem with coffee in our place is getting our eldest son (too old to stop him) to empty the water from the capture tray.

All three of us love coffee

Fortunately the youngest son hasn't taken up the temptation yet.

In part a response to this thread, the March Photo Challenge theme is "café".

Ok ... took me ages ... glued to instruction booklet, but, wow, very nice coffee indeed.
Hmmm ... looks like those pods are a bit tricky to get, this machine has to use the Lavazza (smalller than Nespresso ones) pods. Where do other people get them?
Gone on Petra, have a coffee, its lunch time.

Check Ebay - there were a lot of Nespresso pod sellers there when I looked, so maybe the same for the Lavazza?

Came with 24, 2 already down.
Yes Eric, had a look on eBay, and they come come USA, and bit pricey. Can buy them from Lavazza in Aus, which may be easier, though still pricey. Still cheaper than buying a coffee from the shop though.

Not cheaper than buying your own beans or ground - BUT the pod coffee is always fresh. Can you buy fresh beans or ground every few days? And did I mention the convenience?
