OPT list them at US$1595 and US$1795, depending on the motors.

Interesting part is that the list prices are I guess with motors?

Being that you can re-use the servo motors why didn't they put up a price without motors.

I guess it's Losmandy..hey their website is quirky!

... the Base Gemini 2 without motors is $1095 USD if you already have either type of servo motors (not Stepper motors)

Hi John,
I work directly for Scott Losmandy so maybe I can help you out with this. The new Gemini w/ Servos is priced at $1595, w/ Maxons at $1795. If you wish to order, please call me direct 530-346-6738 or you can call the Losmandy office number and it will still get to me. I will put the order in for you.
The lead time for new orders, last I had heard is around end of March. They are currently working on backorders.
Karen Myers, Losmandy Products

Gaud I hate that, click on the video and it wizzes by at a million mile an hr.

Given I cant see the awesome new video at anything like old human speed, what else does it do better other than show the old keypad on a fancy LCD touch screen and awesome interweb connectivity?.

You need to save it and run it with Quicktime. Then you can play "click the buttons".

Looks good and nice features, its a pity though that the DIN plugs still go into the front of the Gemini. It detracts from the appearance and continues to be a snag point for other cables when the mount is slewing. Seeing as both motors are on the same side it would make more sense to me to have the DIN ports on the side of the Gemini. It would look neater and I imagine it would be less likely to snag other cables or bet bumped and damaged.
