Very useful resource for AP'ers

I'm not jumping on the band wagon here. This link has appeared on IIS since 2005 - and here it is again. No doubt many have been there already. But I do hope it doesn't get lost in the mass of threads.

I found the article by Samir Kharusi on sub-exposure calculations extremely helpful. Working my way through it day-by-day.

I'll do my best to remember - wonder if it could be a sticky?

I stuck it in my 'Favourites' for future reference.
Is it worth adding to the Links page ? Doesn't really need a thread to make it available.

Links page would be fine, I guess. Definitely one for the favourites.

Filters and light pollution.

Here it is again.

There are links to some useful info on filters at the bottom of Samir's article on sub exposure times. It may be a little outdated since the CLS-CCD filter, but still very useful.

It is also worth looking at this - light pollution assessment - particularly the table down the page a bit.
