No doubt we wont get the xmas special at xmas.

Yes, April is quite a way away.

I don't like what they've done to the new series. It's far to addictive.

This year we'll get the Christmas special fast-tracked by the ABC so it'll be broadcast on boxing day. As for next year, the series will be broken into two parts - which apparently means more episodes for us! The episodes will probably be played in Australia three weeks after the initial broadcast in the UK, like this year!

Not long now!

Hi Liz, the ABC was advertising the Christmas special on Saturday night.

Definitely happening on Boxing day.

As usual, season thirty-two will begin in late April for Australian viewers ( that is, if you wait till the ABC broadcasts). Though, just for a twist, there will be several episodes with a 'finale' - of sorts- thats pulls out a dramatic cliffhanger... Which is intended to 'keep us on the edge of our seats' until the second part of the series in autumn. You have Moffat to thank for that!

April, like I said

I'm not sure I like the split idea. Why can't they just be more like the US and make 22 episodes. Sheez.

Trent, how do you mean 'like the US'?
In some respects the split idea is ok: it means a dose of new Who three times a year!
