Gilligan (from Gilligan's Island). Yes, it's true. I was sick to the bone when I woke up - then I told hubby and he just laughed at me. Never forgot it to this day.
Suzy,

If you should have that dream again, could you please let Mary Anne know that I'm still waiting for her to appear in one of my dreams...

Cheers,
Mario

Why were all the guys interested in Mary Anne and not Ginger??? Was it because she could bake yummy coconut cream pies?

And Mario, if I should ever have that dream again, so help me...

Strangest dream I had recently was that I was broken down on some country back road with my new employee. For some reason we had a few bags of groceries with fresh t-bone steaks, eggs and milk and decided to walk carrying the groceries.

Along the way we were picked up by John Howard and Alexander Downer and I somehow ended up giving John Howard a serving about how he lost an election that he should have won hands down and how Alexander Downer had been setup at a fall guy ??

Anyway they dropped us of at a bus station and they invited us to meet them at John's place to give them advice and help on their re-election coup.

When we left my primary concern was if the T-Bones steaks were ok to feed to the dogs. John thought the steaks might have gone off.

So tempted to make a comment about coconuts... but I wont, unless I already did

Mary Anne trumps Ginger for a simple reason.... plain Jane beats a Bimbo hands down any time.

Suzy - hate to tell you this but he landed in Brisbane on the weekend. It was part of the QANTAS anniversary (90 years??), and there was a staff plus friends and family event held at brisbane airport. 50 lucky people got to meet him and spend a bit of time chatting to him.

A client of mine who I saw this morning was one of the 50....said he was 'very nice'. He even got up on stage and sang a couple of Grease tunes...i think thats what he said

You know how they say it's rare to dream in black and white? When I was a kid I dreamt in black and white about a bear and a wolf dancing around a tree to really old music on a record player but there was a colour rainbow behind them but the rest of the dream was black and white....strange.

Another dream that sticks in my mind from not too long ago...there was this really tall ever green tree and there was a really fat person standing on a branch then they fell out of the tree toward the ground just as a golf ball flew up into the air...I don't get my dreams sometimes.

Adam, I know! I didn't find out till that afternoon. I was lucky enough to be able to see a you tube video of some of it. A lucky woman got up on stage and asked for a hug . Gee, I'd be happy just to be in the crowd . I'm not jealous, no I'm not . He was right under my nose and I didn't even know it. Warren (Supernova65) told me he was going to be in Brissy not so long ago, but I didn't know what for and I didn't hear anything . My search continues....

Shelley I used to always dream in black and white as a child. In fact my dreams only got colourised about 20 years ago (in my mid 20's). And wow what spectacular colour.

Seriously, read my dream about Gilligan ... it will make anyone that's had a crazy dream feel good I can't work them out either!

Thanks everyone for sharing your dream experiences. This thread has been such an interesting read.

The last two nights in a row I've had astro dreams. One of the Andromeda Galaxy after seeing it at Ron's Cambroon Star Party, and then the next night on the star Procyon, again at Ron's. Hmmm.. both dreams stemmed from Ron's star party, now what's that about Perhaps I'm yearning for more dark skies .

Hi All,

I had a very, very intense dream last night. I was in the Ala Moana shopping centre not far from Waikiki in Honolulu when I heard a lot of rumblings and explosions. I rushed outside into a park across the road and saw a volcanic island a few kilometres off the coast (yes I know there isn't one there) undergoing a massive Plinian-type eruption creating a spectacular rising column/cloud of ash riddled with lightning & thunder. Absolutely awe-struck and wondering if I'd get a better view if I moved right down on to the bay or whether I'd be better off heading in the direction of the mountains behind, where I'd have more elevation.

Reality hit hard seconds later when it starts raining boulders the size of lounge-chairs up to the size of small cars. The first one landed a few hundred metres away and I can remember seeing it in flight, fascinated by the beautiful parabolic arc it was describing as it hurtled toward ground. Then several more landed quite close-by and there were people in a panic fleeing and being killed. Things were being smashed to pieces and then I saw one that seemed to be heading directly for me and I quickly figured that if I thought that, it was more likely to land just behind me so I ran forward several steps. It smashed into a couple of eucalyptus trees (on Honolulu -- go figure) and just shattered them into matchwood. Seconds later, I could see a huge tsunami-like wave heading into the coast and I started to run for my life away from the sea -- that's when I awoke.

All in technicolour, HD, 3-D and surround sound. Extremely impressive.

I don't attach any sort of significance to what I saw as a "premonition" -- at first I was just fascinated and awe-struck and it then turned to blind panic.

Best,

Les D

Les,

Just out of curiosity, what time of day was it that this happened (in your dream, that is)?

Les,

The reason I asked is because your account reminded me of one of my favourite paintings.

See attached.

Come Fly with Me.

Had dreams where I could .... FLY ... no really ... sometimes I am walking down a road ... and suddenly for no apparent reason, I'm being chased by a mob ... and as I run to get away ... I push down on the air around me and leap into the air and I go higher and higher ( as long as I keep pushing on the air .... like breaststroke in water ) . If I stop pushing ... I descend downwards.

Sometimes I can jump great heights ... over high fences or buildings...kinda like the scenes from the Matrix Movies.

I've dream't this several times over the years .... been a while now since it last happened.

Here's one for yah...!!! Ever been in a dream and whilst in that dream ... you have realized that you are in a dream. That has happened a couple of times to me.

Just thought I'd share that ....
