I see that the Sky & Space magazine website has finally disappeared just like my subscription.

And can noone bring these people to task?

I see that on another forum here an amateur astronomer is speaking on behalf of the magazine. Perhaps an email to him at http://sites.google.com/a/astrotasmania.com/www/aboutme may assist?

I also believe Lyle Rumble had some involvement in the magazine under the parent company "Pulsar Publishing Pty Ltd" (ACN 103 227 274). I also understand his email address now is: Lyle.Rumble@yahoo.com.au

Also, here is one of many threads about this S&S and thier poor history of customer service: http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...ad.php?t=25485

That thread is over 2 years old, so as such is not current, the mgazine disappeared quite some time ago, when it was published it was somewhat sporadic at times, sky and telescope has filled the gap ... So much so another australian magazine might find it difficult to start up, there are also several overseas offerings at the newsstand.

Yes you lost your money, given the company has probably wound up, and has no assetts, creditors are wasting their time...... As with most businesses that wind up the govt does diddly squat to ensure an equitable outcome.

Yep fully understand and agree with you Clive. Just offering a small selection of the past to remind people of what some shoddy people are capable of.
