Geez, I'd better nip down to the PO Box and see if my copy has arrived.

I'd completely forgotten about AS&T

Picked mine up last night on the way home.

Wonderful images, that's for sure.

How about the competition for the Observatory and scope, that awesome. I might have to have a go myself.

Cheers

I have to agree, AS&T's distribution doesn't match the excellence of the magazine content.
I frequently see AS&T at the newsagents days ahead of my copy arriving in the mail.
Disappointing, it would be nice to think that someone at AS&T browses IIS, gets the feedback, blushes, and attempts to resolve the problem!

Cheers
Chris

I'm sure Greg will have seen your post and will be going to great pains to rectify the problem.

The mailing of this issue of AS&T to subscribers was delayed by several days due to a freight/handling delay that affected many things in Sydney, not just AS&T. I am sorry that happened, but it was out of our hands.

Normally, the magazine is mailed (from Sydney) 6-7 days before it appears in newsagencies, and so subscribers usually start receiving it on the Thursday or Friday of the week before it's in shops.

Unfortunately, sometimes it takes longer than the Australia Post recommended guide for delivery to various regions around Australia and overseas.

Mine arrived maybe a day or two later than usual.

Now the most important question - Was the camera/photographer photoshopped out of the cover image - the reflection in the Sun!

Ok, so there was a freight delay but why do shops in Tasmania then receive the magazine at least several days before an individual? The delay only affected the subscriptions?

A couple of days or a week late is no big deal.

The reason I subscribe is to ensure that I get a copy as my local newsagent used to only order 1 or 2 copies and sometimes he didn't even bother at all.
