I haven't bought any Astro gear for a long time , but in the last couple weeks I have bought a UHC filter and a Camera adapter+T piece , and since I have been back had only two nights with the Telescope's 
We have had over 500mm in Cambroon since I returned from WA  in that time WA has had Zilch

HI All,
Well i'm in to frames of mind.
One says i'm glad this cyclone is going south!! Cause clear skies in WEIPA!!!!!. The other hand is we need this to destroy roads etc. up here so i've got work(and i need the dollars). Just cant bloody win.

Cyclone Ului stalking the coast.
A news source claims that it may cause a repeat of the '74 floods.
Did some one in SEQ buy Hubble?

It seems i have an immunity or something this time.. got my first decent scope on the way, its due in about Monday. Just checked the forecast and SkippySky and its clear here pretty much all week for us.
Man i cant wait

Don't count your chickens before the eggs hatch...or in this case until you open the box...lots of weather can come in by scope delivery time.
But I hope you are one of the lucky few who get a new Astro goody without poor weather...

Obviously the Hubble failed to arrive. Perhaps it fell off the transporter.
Sun is shining.  Its been overcast here for weeks.
Or, Is anyone's scope order delayed?

No, sun is still shining. Maybe some one has been disappointed. 
Just unbelievably bright. It will take some getting used to.
