T-rings

Hi All. I have a Meade 6.3 focal reducer and sx h9c imager what distance do I need between them, is it T2 rings I need, O/D of thread is 41.7mm on a 30mm long one i have, all help appreciated. peter

From memory the required distance from last element of FR to chip is about 105 mm. What scope are you using it in?

Hi Paul. RCX400 10", so I will need 75mm, 2 x 30mm and 1 x 15mm, are the rings I need called T2, peter

If you were using a DSLR then all you would need would be a T adapter, but using the SX you will be a bit short so you will need to work out an extension tube to go on it. If you use one of these https://www.bintelshop.com.au/Product.aspx?ID=7182 the silver barrel can be unscrewed and the FR screwed in there and then you just need a single extension tube to cover the distance. A couple of options anyway

HI Paul. A bit confused here my 41.7mm is not 42mm or do they just call it 42mm, because fin pitch of 0.5mm? thread it will nearly fall out of 42mm. peter
