Final Sid on Thors
Finally I am happy with this image.
I blended the Luminence data with the Ha data and the noise cleaned right up. Some minor noise control had to be done but nothing serious.
Now I can move on from this target onto another one. M83 is next on my list.
The data is now 22.1 hours worth and shows nice saturation and colour (well I think so). I promise this is the last time I do a reprocess.

Comments welcome.

This has been a huge effort Paul but the end result was worth it, plenty of detail and little noise.
Clear skies Ken.

Nothing wrong with having several goes at it in my opinion ..particularly given that you were able to improve it, nicely done, it's a fine image

Mighty Oz, I image from Clayton South Australia. It is right near lake Alexandrina and the Murray runs right past the township.
Stars will need some reduction as Stuart has pointed out but that is it for this target.
Thanks for the comments, most appreciated.

Paul,
You should be very proud of this effort -- it is your best image to date.
Very pleasing to the eye. It almost resembles an eagle/bird in flight from left-to-right.
I've been looking at it for a good five minutes and I love it. Reminds me a lot of Jason Jennings magnificent take of this region, too.
Well done, Paul.

Fantastic. I'd have been happy with any one of the previous renditions, but each iteration has been a joy to look at.
