Hope my G11 works tonight

Hi Guys, well it has been a bit frustrating to say the least, and also I have being peed off, but tonight i have the G11 tracking I think, so I will let it run for a couple of hours and see how it goes, will get back to with results

Thanks JJJ, so far all is well, bugger, it has been a time with this set-up, I have it aligned, balanced, and it did not wont to play, I will, as you say keep every thing crossed that is possible.

Well Leon, how did it go? Did you auto-guide as well, or just tracking/imaging?

Thanks guys, last night was very good it tracked like it should have, I will be buggered if I know what went wrong, but at least I know all is well with the set-up.

Good to hear Leon. It can be damned frustrating. I'm going through a G-11 tracking/guiding episode myself right now too. My balance was THAT critical, that the weight of the finder was enough to upset the whole apple cart in RA. I've now removed the finder and it tracks and guides very well - with an almost flat graph. How does your graph look in PHD?

Chris it is funny, well not really, that you say that, I too removed the extra finder on the set-up, and it seemed to make a big difference to the balance

But at least it guiding

good to see you are making headway. The G11 is a really good performer, last night i was doing 15min unguided exposures with my FSQ with perfect stars.

I was expecting sausages in my FOV lol
