I have just up-graded to a go-to mount and i have this HEQ5 mount for sale. I have had it for about 10 weeks and it is in absolutely perfect, as new condition. It comes complete with mount, tripod, hand controller, battery pack and 2x 5kg weights. It even comes in original boxes. It really is a flawless set-up. I live on the Gold Coast but could send anywhere(give location and i will give freight costs.)
As i have the original purchase receipt, which i will give to the buyer, the manufactures warranty can be taken over by the new buyer.
Will the manufacturers warranty carry across, and how long is the warranty? Does it have a port to take an autoguider?
I don't know how the warranty part works with new owners. If you are fairly local to the gold coast. I bought it from star optics and i believe that they could well honour the warranty.
the heq5 does not have a port for an auto guider. that is the heq5 pro.
heq5 and heq5 pro are identical except the pro has go-to and auto-guider. other specs are the same eg- weight capacity etc.
after looking at some previous sales of this mount i have decided to reduce the price and keep the price in line with the apparant market value of these mounts. one needs to respond to the market.
new price = $650
original invoice comes with the mount so warranty is still valid with new owner.
