What an absolutely fabulous question! I'll have to think about this one because of am uncertain of the answer. I agree because of the variety of colours seen on Jupiter it is hard to adjudge what the 'mean colour' is to be.
I would assume it would be based on the colour (colorimetry) of the principle chemical of Jupiter atmosphere,
ammonium hydrosulfide.
Bit more thought required...
