Cool Another Conjunction Picture from North Carolina 09-07-05

I got really lucky again on the clouds and managed to grab some more shots of the Lunar, Jupiter, Venus, and Spica Conjunction on the second night! When you see the picture, you'll see what I mean about the clouds!

The newest Picture can be found at:
http://www.rapideye.us/astro/conjunction-09-07-05.html

Getting two good nights of weather for the same conjunction amazed me.
How well the Canon Rebel (D300) worked with just a plain stock setup, stock lens, and no touchup required on the photo stunned me!

I have renamed and moved the picture from 09-06-05 to here:
http://www.rapideye.us/astro/conjunction-09-06-05.html

I apologize for the size, but I'm still not sure of how to shrink it down and still keep Spica visible as anything more than a single pixel.

Thanks for looking, and I'd be happy to have some feedback on how I can improve both of those shots. I use GIMP as my main processing software - so be gentile with the Photoshop speak =-)

Thanks
<RE>

I've got an awesome clear night tonight: http://www.rapideye.us/astro/RapidEye-ClearSky.html
So I'm off to hit the binos and see if I can finish up all of the Sag Binocular Messiers before its gone for the year.

I'll work on the photo some tomorrow, if work is slow

Thanks for the feedback

Pretty good Guestimate!

NC is almost halfway up the East Coast of the US.
My GPS tells me that my pasture is at: Lat 35:27.793 Lon 78:59.121 around 110 Meters above sea level.
