Pony Club - Roadworks Wisemans Ferry Road

This is just a heads up for anyone who might be using Wisemans Ferry Road in the next 6 weeks, including those who could be visiting the Pony Club.

Gosford City Council have advised that Wisemens Ferry Road will be closed to through traffic from Monday 4th May to Friday 12th June 2009 whilst Council replaces the timber bridge over Popran Creek with a reinforced concrete box culvert.

The section of Wisemans Ferry Road to be closed is from the George Downes Drive intersection for approximately 3.5km to the intersection with Bloodtree Road.

So if you're coming from the Freeway or Peats Ridge Road say when you get to Central Mangrove instead of turning left into Wisemans Ferry Road at the intersection of Wisemans Ferry Road and George Downes Drive, keep driving through till you get to the intersection of George Downes Drive and Bloodtree Road, turn left into Bloodtree Road and then at the end of this road you will be back on to Wisemans Ferry Road heading south towards the Pony Club.

Pony Club

Thanks Bones. Good Report

Hmmm!...
Speaking of the PC....
After the Lostock wind festival last week,
I fear I am still in need of another shot at skygazing this lunar!!!
... weather permitting of course.

So, Keymasters, any interest in PC this week?
(first quarter moon should be setting around midnight I guess)

Wishful Thinking Al

PS:
I am thinking of changing my user name to "Inmytent"
What do you think Geoff !!!

Hi all,
sorry can't get to the PC tonight, i am currently sitting in hong kong airport waiting for a mn flight to london and then a connecting flight to dublin.

Saw the most amazing Sun before sunset from the airport, totally unfiltered and could stare at through the window (and the smog) with uncovered eyes, wow it was amazing. makes me thank heavens we don't have that much polution down below the equator.

Will try and see the new moon and polaris from the north of Ireland (and hopefully the Aurora Borialis

Hopefully catch you all next month at the PC
