I'm a Poppee again!
Woohoo!
I met my new granddaughter last night - Georgia Rose.
She was born on Monday (Labour day
here in NSW) but I didn't get the message till Monday night, so it was a quick trip to Bathurst after work yesterday to meet her.
Both mum and Georgia are doing well!
A gradson and now a granddaughter... that must make me a PoppeeČ!

Thanks for all your thought and regards, guys.
Grandkids are great! Someone once said that "grand kids were a parent's revenge"
and at times that might seem true, but really they are close enough to enjoy and appreciate without all the associated stress...
...and they bring back so many memories of what your own kids were like as they developed. All great experience...
Here's a few photos as promised.
Al.

Congratulations Al, she looks a 'little cracker', enjoy every moment!!
Your kids grow up, leave home and settle down, then along come the grandchildren, fantastic!!
In past past 22 months, I've travelled over 60,000 miles (UK to WA and back 3 times) to see one of mine, and its worth every mile!!.
