Moon with Planets from Brisbane

Hi Guys,

This was a great view so I thought I'd share it with you. I think its Venus Mercury and Mars.

Canon 20D 3 frames stacked ISO800 6sec f5.6 80mm FL

Just a quick process, but I like it

Dave.

Lovely work. I wish I'd known about this. Though I didn't really have time last night to do anything about it. Had to go to a fathers day cub scout fishing adventure with Jacob

Thankyou everyone for your kind words.

I didn't know about this event until I saw it. It was a lovely surprise.

I find viewing scenes like this one have a wonderful relaxing and slowing down effect on me. In our busy lives, a view/experience like this is precious.

Hard to describe.....

Lovely shot Dave! I didn't get a chance to photograph yesterday, but I'm hoping for a gap in the clouds this evening.
