Times when you wish you had a camera

Just checking the sun with my solarmax 60 and seen this little bird spring into view dancing in front of the sun. If only i had the camera on the telescope. Would have been a nice shot.

I know exactly what you mean Phil.

Yesterday, I raked up big pile of leaves for mulching and a few minutes later a little wind eddy went through them resulting in this perfect funnel of leaves rising about 3 metres into the air.
It would have been an awesome image but it was over so quickly all I could do was just watch it and enjoy the spectacle.

And then rake up the leaves again.

Thanks for sharing your happy moment with us.

I had that incident the other week with the aeroplane crossing the face of the moon. And I did have the camera up to the scope. If only.........

I remember seeing a Yowie stalking a Tassie Tiger, when both of them were sucked up in a flying saucer. If only I had the camera...

It probably wouldn't have worked anyway as all electronic equipment goes dead in close proximity to a UFO....unless you wrapped it in aluminium foil....but then you'd block the lens. Man, those UFO's are really smart!
