I see blue sky!

First time in 2 weeks, it's sunny - the sky is blue, the birds are singing.. A new lease of life around the house

Might even get some imaging done tonight! I'm getting withdrawals!

OMG !!! what's that blue stuff and what is that big bright yellow thing ?????

Everyone around here has gone crazy with edgers and lawn mowers , and the local kids have gone absolutely nutz !!!!

Got the garage open and hopefully the slab will dry out today.

Good freshes (floods) in the Hunter River don't happen too often ..they push all the little fish and prawns out of the river and the big biteys (sharks, jewfish) hang about near the walls to ambush them. .. and are always worth putting a big bait (a live yellowtail or mullet is best , of a frsh slab of oily fish or whole squid) onto a big (8/0 or 9/0) hook and having a lob from either Nobbys wall (The Flatrock or the Sharkhole) , or from Stockton wall near the beacon or from the Lion's Park.

It's high tide at midnight .... two guesses where this jewie fisherman is likely to be tonight ....

No clouds .... it will be nippy there tonight .... brrrrrrrrrrrrr .

Got the big jewie stick and gaff on the roofracks , the gear has been checked (8 oz snapper leads bottle has been topped up , the 9/0 XXOS strong Stainless Suicides have been sharped to a razer sharp edge and are needle point sharp , a couple or sliding snoodes on heavy mono traces have been made ready , the big alvey has been oiled and lubed) , I got my hands onto half a dozen medium sized squid .... ready to rock and roll .... a couple of hours and I'll out of here .

Was a very nice sun-set this avo .... just a few clouds on the western horizon , not much breeze and I spotted a few guys with trolleys on Stockton wall already while I doing my recy at the old tug dykes.

My lawn has been green and growing all summer , I nnever fertilise it or water it.

Due to get the kid down the road to give it a shearing again. I hate mowing the lawn , and he only charges $25.

Stars!! I see stars and a blackish sky. There's a bit of high cloud about though. Every plane that went by today seemed to be seeding clouds - after nearly two weeks of rain, why? It makes me wonder. The lawns mowed but the yards are still pretty wet though.

I've got cloud, lots of it!

After a run of almost 3 clear nights I am definitely not complaining.
