Venus-Jupiter-Moon Conjunction 4th Feb

I simply could not resist this conjunction Pre Sunrise this morning.
With the sky already brightening and with some high cloud about, the moon is not as sharp as it could be, but nice none the less.

Very nice result, Ian!

Was cloudy and raining here this morning, no chance for me to capture it.

Hi Ian

Thanks for the stunning view! Rain, clouds, more clouds and then even more clouds meant that this was a non-event in Brisbane. It sure looks pretty, especially with the earthshine.

Cheers

Dennis

No worries, I am a bit hooked on this series of conjunctions
Rain in the south and dry clear weather in the tropics, mid "wet Season", go figure !

Nice Ian, just what I saw this morning, but at a somewhat different orientation relative to the horizon!

Nice one Ian! Unfortunately, as Dennis already said, the weather is very ordinary here in Brisbane, and the forecast suggests it will stay that way until after Thursday's eclipse

Cheers,
Stephen
