This is the first time I have had size envy. It all looks great! You need the opening music from Jaws (or Flying High) as you approach the rather large mount and optics.

Great stuff!

Thankyou Bert , Phil and Frank...

The pier is protruding through the Observatory false floor as you can see, this pier is a 6 tonne block of concrete, isolated from the building foundations, the dome runs on eight castors rated at 300 kg each. the wight of the dome without steel support was 600 kilos... It was fun...
