Are you naturally left or right brained

Which way she spins for you, will tell you which side of the brain you normally think from.
http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegrap...012895,00.html

at first I thought it was a gif that would randomly change the direction, until I got someone in the office to look at it at the same time. The saw it moving in the opposite direction than me.

You can actually change here direction at will once you now how. Do some multiplication in your head to make her spin anti clockwise and think of something like mixing paint colours to activate the right side of the brain.

It will spin you out.

Hey thats pretty cool.

Picked her spinning clockwise initially, but I glanced away and lnow she's spinning counterclockwise. Took awhile for her to go back to clockwise spinning again.

What does that say ???

Hey White Rabbit, I got her spinning in both direction, just by looking at different parts of her body, when i look down to her legs she went clock wise, but when i moved my vision up ward she anti clock wise.

Funny that, and i wont say where i was looking either

Weird - I am very left brained, but that said I was right brained..... I can only see her twirling clockwise.... How can you turn the lights on her??

For a full explanation here

http://www.uq.edu.au/nuq/jack/jack.html

It is called perceptual rivalry where the left and right hemispheres of your brain and corresponding eye alternate in dominance.

http://www.uq.edu.au/nuq/jack/rivalry.html

It just shows how little we all know of what we see!

Thanks, I like those illusual (?) type puzzles.

I could make her spin in other direction by looking to the left or right of the box with my mind focussed on her foot.

Probably no lights as she is naked, certainly topless

Interestingly it spent a lot of time stationery for me. But when it was moving it tended to got anticlockwise. I guess that means I favour using no brain with occasional use of the left brain!

Thinking is way too hard!

WOW!

I see her spinning clockwise all the time no matter what I think of (or which bit I look at )

Until I read the writing at the bottom of the pic 'The Right Brain vs Left Brain test', then she turned Anti and I couldn't get her to turn clockwise again!!!

I looked away from the monitor, and when I looked back she was going Clockwise again

I tried this 3 times and it was the same result each time.

Hmmmm, I just tried it a 4th time and now she only goes Anti when I see her in my peripheral vision whilst reading the writing at the bottom of the pic.
As soon as I look back at her she is going clockwise!

Here is one from the site I mentioned.

For the effect to take place it needs concentrating on the image. This may take longer than the twirling girl.
As usual the media dont get the real story!

got got her spinning in both directions... i i didnt look anywhere but her er.... umm... nevermind.

what does it mean if you get both directions?

if you click and drag a tiny bit she stops. for me when she started again she changed direction no matter which way i dragged.

That is a bizzarre ball, Bert.

At first it is spinning clockwise, the it splits into two directions then goes anticlockwise, then split in two and goes back to Clockwise and keeps repeating the pattern!

I must be nuts. I got her doing half a turn one-way and then half a turn the other way. It took while before she started spinning clockwise.

The girl spun clockwise, and I really had to concentrate to get her to go the other way, but I saw the ball spinning anti-clockwise.

so am I left or right brained, lol?

I seem to be able to make the dancer spin either way by concentrating on her.

With the ball Bert I see two halves spinning in opposite directions.

Very interesting stuff.
