Focusing Question

l am rebuilding a 12" GSO Dob, Aluminium tube on an Aluminium Polar Alignable fork mount, l have noticed that some of my EP's and camera will not come to focus, can other people out there let me know what EP's or accessories they have that will not reach focus and whether it is due to infocus/outfocus problems.
l am looking for problems when using the original focuser to use as a reference point.

I believe it would be not enough in-focus, which is why newt owners sometimes move the mirror up the tube for photography.

If the budget allows, Bintel have a low profile focuser made with photography/imaging in mind. As Mike has said, it's usually that you don't have enough in focus, this will fix most problems.
I have the higher profile 10:1 and it's buttery smooth.
The price is $149.

Mick I had similar issues in designing a mounting block to fit a 2 inch focuser to my little vixen newt and needed to know focus heights of various eyepieces. The good folk at CN were able to help me out with these links.
