I got it. last night was the MAS viewing night at the oaks. had a good night of it even if he seeing was really bad!
found all messiers in leo and virgo.

after that i swung to jupiter and saw the transit and yelled out to the guys to swing their scopes over. unfortunately the seeing was so bad that the shadow kept disappearing and most didnt believe me till they saw it in my scope... I tell ya, the gso 8" aint bad. there were bigger scopes there that just couldnt do it.
kind proud of my lil scope

Managed to observe the transit... but the conditions weren't up to imaging. I'd love a nice transit shot with the GRS in there... actually I would like a shot of Jupiter just with the GRS in there would do.

Good one guy's, in my Tak the shadow was jet black and very sharp .
