Celestron Onyx Price Estimate

Hi All

Since I’m moving to a one brand verse, I am considering selling a celestron Onyx refractor that I purchased new back in 09. It was used 3-4 times before going into storage. It is basically in new condition. I added a red dot finder bracket in lieu of the useless peep hole.

It’s an FPL51 (some say 53) doublet

I have not seen one for sale in ages and unsure what would be worth nowadays?

Seems pretty much the same as the Bintel Ganymede (which is definitely FPL-53). Onyx has single speed focuser.

The market seems to be flooded with small refractors nowadays. You may need to discount to get a sale. Good luck

I was thinking around the 700mark plus postage.
