Mike,
All the best for your son’s ceremony
If there’s any place on Earth to celebrate the life of a lost family member , Eagleview is it , what an inspiring place ( even if I’ve only seen it through your wonderful photos )
Take care
Good neighbours are worth their weight in OTAs, Mike!
Hope it all goes together well for you.
Neville
LSO
Cheers Neville, I'm sure the day will be a mixture of some sadness but plenty of joy too

Thanks Martin, yes, no doubt, it certainly feels like an appropriate location to celebrate a life
Hi Mick are up on the mountain tonight it look's like it could be a good for some imaging in before the moon comes up! I am down at Googong going back on Sunday ,I will back down in two weeks time. Clear Nights and sunny days mate
Like I imagine a few others in this neck of the Australian woods have enjoyed, the last seven nights have been good to perfect up at Eagleview, no wind, low humidity, clear and good seeing, why does F'n Murphy do this at Full Moon!! Still, did manage to get a few hours in, the last couple of nights, before the near Full Moon rose then some narrow-band after that till midnight (work nights ).
Sadly we are away this weekend in Sydney, then hopefully next week and the June long weekend that bluudy Murphy character will be distracted and the skies can deliver again for the New Moon period
Oh and of course, some Eagleview food pictures from the weekend, for Alex ... a four course lunch for my nieces engagement (group of seven).
1st course: Angie's famous salmon moose plus accoutrements
2nd course: Scallop and prawn skewers with grilled pineapple
3rd course: Smoked rainbow trout pasta (ingredients only, no final photo )
4th course: Cheese, fruit and cake
All Day: lots of cocktails, wine and beer
Mike

T'was a magnificent day, mild, sunny clear blue sky and no wind at all, beautiful!..drank around the fire pit until about 10pm, our guests marvelling over the bright Milky Way above, pointing out the stars, meteors, satellites, my soon to be Nephew in law couldn't believe what he was seeing above, it was great ...several of us a little zozzled by then too (but no, not me, aaah, I imaged! )
Mike,
Now that’s a smorgasbord , what a spread and the night sky on top of the world down there would be a sight to behold !!!
Yep I’ll be down at my Dome on the south coast next Thursday through to Tuesday. Hope the weather gods are kind to all of us

Hi Mick, yesterday I was driving pass Michelago heading down to Cooma I was wondering what side of the road the mountain you are on; the town side or the other, I was looking at house Michelago about a month ago, but it was out of our range. How has the weather been up their have you been able to do any imaging .

The weather generally is similar to Canberra's. The week over last Full Moon was mostly clear nights (of course ) I did use two of them but after Full Moon, ie dark skies before it rose, both excellent nights. Was hoping for some luck over this coming New Moon buuut so far it ain't looking good in this region for the long weekend but it is early days, fingers crossed
First snow of the year over night at Eagleview, looks like about 10cm or so? Bit late in coming this year, usually we have had two or three falls by now.
Now for some clear skies in between, so I can trudge out to the dome through the snow like a snow bunny...err?..or Wombat
