Best glue

Hi All I'm replacing the Cork under my primary mirror, what would be the best glue to use

It only needs to hold the cork in place, so I'll suggest silicone glue, so it can be easily peeled off the glass later.

If using silicone take great care to ensure it's NEUTRAL CURE silicone and NOT acetic cute silicone as the vapours outgassed during curing of the acetic cute silicone can cause corrosion of nearby metal surfaces including, potentially, the aluminium coating on the mirror.
