A night at Tebbutt Observatory

I had a lovely time on Saturday night showing people the night sky at Tebbutt Observatory at Windsor. There were also other amateurs with their scopes. The Hawkesbury Historical Society had a back to Tebbutt night at the observatory. The first one since the end of lockdown. We were treated with a lovely clear sky and got to tour through the observatory. So much history.

Some shots I took. I would love to go back when there are less lights on and get shots of the observatory and the milky way.

Thanks Richard.

I was there too with my 12 inch dob
It was a nice event, the free coffee and excellent muffins/cakes other accompaniments made up for all the work setting up my big scope

Cheers
Ahmed

One can dream
And this is a specially nice dream for those of us living under the LP dome of big cities.

Although I doubt a Skywatcher Synscan 300p dobsonian would be available in Tebbut's time
