Despite being a week late to the opposition party, Jupiter has been making the rounds in the press cycle. This on prime time 6pm News last night: https://www.9news.com.au/national/astronomy-jupiter-seen-from-earth-for-first-time-in-nearly-60-years/. It seemed to coincide with decent seeing and a GRS transit. Nice timing. My pic from last night is attached.

Good that they made the effort, but a bit of a surprise to learn in the final line we won't see Jupiter again for 11 years!
