Dennis Simmons, king of LPOD!
Dennis you've done it again!
Dennis' fabulous artwork combining Antares, the moon and M4 has made LPOD today:

If it's after 2pm local time, press "Next Page" at the bottom to see it.
Congrats Dennis, truly a master at everything you set your mind to.

I just did a quick stack with Registar with Dennis' great pic on one of mine. I am sure he could do better in PS. He is welcome to the high resolution original if he wants. I dont know whether it is an improvement. But it is an interesting trick.
The second one is the right way up.

Thanks Mike and all. I e-mailed the composite image to Chuck and he replied saying he may use it on LPOD. However, a handful of appearances on the global stage of LPOD doth not a king make!
But, it is nice to see Aussie content being show cased on these sites. Oops, careful Dennis – don’t go setting off H0ughy on another “Southern orientation” crusade!
Great combined super-composite Bert, a seed of an idea for later projects perhaps.
Cheers
Dennis

I don't know Dennis, with you, Mike and h0ughy together, it might just warrant a dedicated page on LPOD

Dennis you are not "just" a photogapher, you are an artist in every sense of the word.

Me too, Andrew, me too!
I'm sometimes lucky and make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, but also quite frequently manage the reverse! I guess that's why imaging is such a fascinating aspect of the larger hobby that is astronomy.
Cheers

Hey H0ughy, nice one – a Poet Laureate as well as the Champion of Orientation in the Southern Hemisphere.

That is one very beautiful image Dennis, quite outstanding; i'm captivated by it. Are you going to sell prints of it? Congratulations and keep up the good work .

Give a man a blank canvas he can paint a picture, give a man a paintbrush he can paint the world.
