Has anyone got a list of guide stars for the Heq5 Pro?

I have a HEQ5 Pro, but you don't need a list of guide stars.
Use a program like PHD2 with your guide camera and choose a star this way. Make sure its not to bright, It will guide on the star you choose, you can also use drift alignment with PHD2 to get you a good polar alignment.
My limit is about 10min on my HEQ5.

Do you mean the list of stars you use for the 3-star alignment?

Yes Tony, sorry I did mean stars for 3 star alignment. I suppose the list would be pretty extensive to cover all the year.
I do use PHD and I can always find a star to guide on. And yes not so bright stars with a sharp peak make for good guiding. I also use PHD to polar align.
When you say your limit is 10 minutes how much to you permit the star to drift over this period?

Thanks for the lists Ken, was making up my own list of named stars by constellation but your list will save me the trouble, much appreciated.
The one bugbear of the lists in Synscan is that unless you know all the named stars off by heart and the constellations they're in, to find suitable alignment stars means consulting atlas' to find out where they are.
With a limited amount of sky to work with at home it makes finding suitable stars problematic.

Hi Peter
I meant to say was, my limit at imaging is 10min before star drift on starts to be noticed.
I only spend about 5min doing drift alignments after I make adjustments, at this moment as a portable mount. I'm always around 1 deg off, each time I bring out the mount. I do have marks on my pad for the tripod feet.
