New Star Trek series "Discovery" teaser trailer

http://youtu.be/Cxba2WjlN90

New trailer released today for STAR TREK- Discovery, new series beginning jan 2017.
I like the nod to 2001:A Space Odyssey & the space shuttle program with the title. Hoping it will be a great series, back in the "classic" timeline
Fingers crossed

Sounds good. I see the teaser got a lot of negative feedback and the ship design was rejected by quite a few. Hopefully they fix it up before the show starts in production.

I love the look of the ship! They've used the comm-badge shape for the rear section (and obviously we are meant to understand that comm-badges were designed around this as a nod of the head to early starship design - works for me).
Can't wait to see it. JJ Abrams has revitalised the franchise with his ST movies, which I consider to be the best ST movies made. Hope this one is as good.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Federation ships were always much more graceful than Klingon or Romulan. Beauty may be in the eye of the beholder, but to me, that Discovery ship is ugly.
