mount/connection for ipad?

Hey

New user here so go easy.

I've had a TУPИCT-3 20x50 for 20 years, but last year I got an ipad and realised I could take some fairly good photos using the camera held up against the telescope.

Only issue is that it requires a pretty steady pair of hands to hold a telescope and an ipad together while getting a decent shot. Anyone aware of some sort of kit that would simplify this, like a case+connector? I've googled a bit but can't find anything pre-made.

My mate had an external camera fixed to his iPhone (sorry I don't know make or model) so you should be able to get one for your iPad. It would just need to attach to your eyepiece somehow.

Here is the info about the Apple Camera Connection Kit
http://store.apple.com/au/product/MC...connection-kit

A holder to hold the actual iPad and its camera over a telescope eyepiece would be quite large and need to be strong, unlike the fairly common holders for iPhones.

Not sure if it'd fit an iPad, and it'd be a bit of a pricey experiment, but there's always one of these...
