Rho from Astrofest - 1h30m
using a borrowed 40D as my other two cooled units bit the dust and my 24-105 lens I got this - not quite right image. stacked in DSS and processed in Pixinsight

That's quite impressive actually Dave. From a stock 15 year old camera. Just goes to show you don't need the newest and latest if you follow the fundamentals.

I don't think It was quite stock - though it wasn't cooled. I think grahame said it was a hutech modified camera. I wished I had one for a back up camera

FWIW, the 40D was released August 2007, Greg's obviously using Nikon years...
