Earth, Air, Fire and Water

Hi all,

Been sitting on this one for a while. Taken the night before I did my images "Aurora Australis" and the panorama version now named "Midnight Rainbow", and is the very first time that I caught an aurora display. Over the course of those three days and two nights I think I had a grand total of 4 hours sleep from memory.

My usual setup and settings.

Cheers

Very nice! The starry sprinkle on the water with the Aurora reflection is very cool.

Thank you very much Laurie, Steve, RG, Alex, Mike, Paul and Carlos Really appreciate the support and great feedback on my work.

Steve: Forgive me, I was being lazy when I posted this. This is the only site that I reveal my camera settings and equipment. If you look back at any of my recent images I detail it all there, but to save you the hassle I will restate them here:

Canon 5D MkII
14mm F/2.8 lens @ F/2.8
30 seconds
ISO 3200

Cheers
Greg

Thanks Greg, yes I was being lazy. I am was familiar with your equipment (gota get me one of those samyang 14mm lenses) - I was just unsure of your settings. Thanks for posting them again

Cheers Steve
