First Moon

My first pic that I thinks 'okay' enough to share
12 panel mosaic shot at prime focus with my 600D through my SW 8" dob. Was using the android app "DSLR Controller" to fire the camera, if you haven't got it check it out, its a pretty sweet!
No processing apart from using Autostich to put it all together.
Cheers

And I love DSLR Controller, haven't taken my laptop out shooting since I've had it!

Thanks for the comments Laurie and Hugh, much appreciated!
And Hugh that's the reason I'v been using it as my current lappy is far to big and the battery is stuffed so it only works when connected to mains.. Keen to try out the time-lapse function when the chance comes

The timelapse function on it is excellent and also lets you do bulb exposure timelapses. I use it on my SGS3 and Galaxy Tab 10.1, it's so much better than just having an intervalometer as you get live view for focusing etc. and, as you said, the battery lasts for ages.
This was one of the main reasons I upgraded from my iPhone as after researching it I learned that this kind of app can't be made for iOS as devs aren't allowed to write stuff that accesses the usb port (plus some other reasons).

Yeah I use it on my S3 also. I like how it gives you I'd guess you can call it live ISO viewing, in that I change the ISO and it comes up straight away on the phone screen what it's changing, without actually taking a pic.. If that makes any sense? Really handy for luna photos. I also have SkEye Pro, the push-to app, but having trouble attaching it to the dob without to much magnetic interference. If I could get those 2 apps working together I'd reckon that'll be a pretty cool combo And yes, we all know what those "other" reason's are
