going to try to get a good picture of the moon tonight....

With my LX90, my new webcam im going to see if i can get a nice picture of the Moon....

Any tips from any experts ?

Is it better just to Point my canon at the moon?

The webcam will give you a close in view, and the Canon will give you a widefield view - so it depends what type of shot you're after.

The close in view requires better seeing and more processing. The wider view shows you the whole disc at once and is easier to process and isn't as dependant on the seeing.
